As we know, urban legends spread like wildfire. The real estate market is not immune to modern-day myths. Such things as easy no down payment loans, stories of distressed sellers virtually throwing their properties at buyers, and cosmetic fixers that can be obtained for pennies are just that – fairy tales which, if believed, can result in disasters Just what are some of the falsehoods being circulated?

• Get seller financing fast. This is very difficult to obtain
• Buyers can get big discounts  for cosmetic fixers. Only what the fixes
will cost.
• 100 percent financing for first-time buyers. Be very careful here…..
•Nearly free foreclosures. Nothing is free…..
•Owners who have distressed property will sign their home over to you, gratis.  Do you think?
