On Good Faith Estimates

I am waiting to find more information on the new law on not being able to get a good faith anymore from your bank before buying a house!

So how is the buyer suppose to know who has the best rates and what they are paying for?

You now have to apply up front for the loan with the bank and if you don’t like what you see you go the next bank and pay to apply again, all in all these application bring your credit score down. What makes sense or is fair about this new law?
