Burnt Bridge Creek neighborhood is one of the largest neighborhoods of Vancouver. It prides itself on being a family oriented community heavily involved with the promotion of Vancouver as a great place to live.

Its history dates back to the late 1890s when it was first settled.

Original housing subdivisions began in the early 1970s with 'Wedgewood Acres' and 'Wedgewood 2' developments in the location of 137th Avenue and 39th Street (98682).
