Esther Short is home to many people, but also the city's commercial, cultural, financial center with many shops, restaurants, and provides much entertainment options, along with river front areas. There are big plans with large investments taking place to update parts of the commercial and downtown areas. Most of the neighborhood is zoned for high density commercial, office and residential developement.
