Does a seller have to pay commission to a Realtor if a person buys your home that looked at it before you contracted with the Realtor?
Think about this. That buyer did not make an offer at that time. It was probably the marketing of the Portland Home by the Realtor that put a sense of urgency on that prospect.
Your Realtor’s job does not stop until the deal is closed. Sometimes holding the deal together is more work than finding the buyer. Certainly we always need to look at what is moral and fair, not what law we can find loopholes in to cheat someone.
